Demi Moore is an American actress.
Demi Demetria Gene Guynes was born on November 11, 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico. Her father, Charles Harmon, left her mother Victoria before the birth of their daughter. Her mother and stepfather abused alcohol and often changed their homes. At the age of 16 Demi left school to work in a modeling agency. According to some media reports, Moore on the advice of her neighbor, young actress Nastassja Kinski, decided to act in films too.
She played one of the first roles in the television series General Hospital (1982-1983). In the mid-1980s, Moore appeared in the youth films St. Elmo’s Fire, Blame It on Rio and About Last Night. In 1988, she played the first leading role in her career in the film The Seventh Sign.

In 1990, Moore co-starred with Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg in the hit romance Ghost. After the commercial success of the film Ghost she starred in the film A Few Good Men with Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise, Indecent Proposal, Disclosure, Striptease and so on.
In the early 1990s, she became the first actress with a fee of more than 10 million for a movie in Hollywood, but in the following years her career showed a significant decline.

In 1997, she played a role in the film If These Walls Could Talk, which earned her a nomination for Golden Globe.
After a several-year break she appeared in the movie Charlie’s Angels in 2003.
In 2006, she had a small role in the film Bobby where her husband Ashton Kutcher also starred. In 2007, she starred in the thriller Mr. Brooks.
Together with Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and ex-husband Bruce Willis, Demi founded the restaurant chain Planet Hollywood.
Demi is a vegetarian.
In 1991, the actress posed nude for the cover of Vanity Fair at the seventh month of pregnancy. She thus became an iconic symbol of female liberation to those who admired the exposure and a figure of shameless immodesty to those who were offended by the gesture.
In 1996, she joined the list of the most beautiful people according to People magazine.

Personal life
At the age of 17 Demi married rock musician Freddy Moore, who was 12 years older than her. They were together from 1980 to 1985. Then she began dating Emilio Estevez.

In 1987-2000 she was married to actor Bruce Willis. In this marriage Moore gave birth to three daughters – Rumer Glenn Willis (born on August 16, 1988), Scout LaRue Willis (born on July7, 1991) and Tallulah Belle Willis (born on March 2, 1994).

From 1999 to 2002, the actress had an affair with martial arts instructor Oliver Whitcomb.
In 2005-2013 Demi was married to actor Ashton Kutcher (who is 16 years younger than her).

In December 2016 the actress had a love affair with Tobey Maguire.
