Emma Watson – British actress

Emma Watson is a British actress and model. She is best known for the character of Hermione Granger in the films about Harry Potter.
Her full name is Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson. She was born on April 15, 1990 in Maisons-Laffitte, a suburb of Paris, France. Her parents both worked as lawyers there. When the girl was five years old, her parents divorced, and Emma, her mother and her younger brother Alex moved back to England.
At an early age Emma showed a talent for acting. She was taught singing, dancing and acting at a theatre school.
In 1999, she was chosen for the role of Hermione in the first Harry Potter film. J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, liked the little actress at once.
Soon Emma began filming with 11-year-old Daniel Radcliffe and 12- year-old Rupert Grint.

From then on Emma became famous all over the world. She was honored with five nominations for this role, and won Young Artist Award.

In 2009, Emma was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the highest paid actress of the decade.
In June 2012, Watson confirmed that she was approved for the role of Noah’s adopted daughter in the film Noah by Darren Aronofsky.
In September 2012 the film The Perks of Being a Wallflower, where Emma played the role of the main character, was released.
In 2013, Emma starred in the film The Bling Ring by Sofia Coppola as well as in the comedy-tragedy End of the World.
In March 2013 wax figure of Emma Watson appeared in Madame Tussauds museum.
In 2014, Watson was appointed Ambassador of UN Women Goodwill. She has launched a campaign ‘HeForShe’, which encourages men to speak for gender equality.

Personal life
It is known that from 2011 to the autumn of 2013 Emma was together with Will Adamowicz.
In 2014, the actress was together with rugby player Matthew Jenny.
