Ernesto Che Guevara – Great Comandante

Ernesto Che Guevara was a Latin American revolutionary and the trusted adviser of Cuban premier Fidel Castro. He used nickname Che to emphasize his Argentine origin. He became one of the main persons of the Cuban revolution, and remains a symbol of commitment to ideals.
Ernesto Rafael Guevara de la Serna was born on June 14, 1928 in Rosario, Argentina. He had two brothers and two sisters. Ernesto was keen on chess. At the age of 11 he became interested in Cuba, when Cuban chess player Capablanca came to Buenos Aires.
At 19 Guevara entered the medical school of the University of Buenos Aires.

John James Audubon – American naturalist

John James Audubon was an America’s greatest naturalist, ornithologist and animal artist, author of Birds of America (1827-1838). The first environmental organization in the world National Audubon Society was named in his honor.
John James Audubon was born on April 26, 1785 in Les Cayes, Haiti. He was the illegitimate son of a French adventurer. His mother died soon after her son’s birth. John and his father came to France in 1794.
In 1803, John came to America to become the manager of his father’s lead mines in Pennsylvania. However, he was interested in drawing and decided to become an artist.

Neil Patrick Harris – actor and singer

Neil Patrick Harris is an American actor, singer and magician. He was the winner of Tony and Emmy awards and was nominated for Golden Globe. He is best known for the role of Barney Stinson in the TV series How I Met Your Mother. In October 2011, Harris was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Neil Patrick Harris was born on June 15, 1973 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and grew up in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Neil played the role of Toto in the school theater production The Wizard of Oz.
His father Ron is a lawyer and his mother Sheila is a writer. They moved to Albuquerque in 1988 and in the same year Harris made his debut in two movies: Purple People Eater and Clara’s Heart with Whoopi Goldberg in main role. A year later, when Neil was 16 years old, he was invited to star in Steven Bochco’s television series Doogie Howser, MD (1989).

Freddie Mercury – Legend of Rock

Freddie Mercury was a British singer, songwriter, lead singer of rock band Queen. He was the author of hits including Seven Seas of Rhye, Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, We Are the Champions, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and others. In 2002, Freddie took 58th place in the list of 100 Greatest Britons. In 2008, Rolling Stone magazine placed him 18th in the list of 100 Greatest Singers of All Time. Allmusic described him as “one of the greatest rock singers, and the owner of one of the greatest voices in the history of music”.
Farrukh Bulsara (his real name) was born on September 5, 1946 in Stone Town, Zanzibar. His father worked as a clerk at the Supreme Court of England and Wales. In 1952, Farrukh’s sister was born.
In 1954, the boy was sent to St. Peter’s School in Panchgani. Bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar had a great influence on Farrukh. His name was inconvenient for pronunciation, so his English-speaking classmates called him Freddie.

Kate Winslet – British actress

Kate Winslet is a British film and theater actress. In 1991, Kate made her debut on British television. And in 1994 she debuted in the film Heavenly Creatures. World fame came to her in 1997 after her role in the disaster movie Titanic, for which she received her second nomination for Oscar. Kate is also a singer and her single What If was a hit in several European countries. Winslet is the winner of numerous awards, including Oscar (2009), three BAFTA awards (1996, 2009, 2016), four Golden Globe awards (2009 – twice, 2012, 2016), Emmy (2011) and Honorary Cesar Award (2012).
Kate Elizabeth Winslet was born on October 5, 1975 in Berkshire, United Kingdom. Her parents are actors. Kate has two sisters and a brother.
At the age of 11 the girl began attending Redroofs Theatre School and a year later she starred in Sugar Puffs commercial.

Hans Christian Andersen – famous fairy tale writer

Hans Christian Andersen is a Danish writer and poet, author of the world famous fairy tales for children and adults: The Ugly Duckling, Emperor’s New Clothes, Thumbelina, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, The Princess and the Pea, The Snow Queen and many others.
Hans Christian Andersen was born on April 2, 1805 in Odense. His father, Hans Andersen (1782-1816), was a poor shoemaker and his mother, Anne Marie Andersdatter (1775-1833), was a washerwoman from a poor family. He was very emotional and sensitive child. The physical punishments were common in schools, so the boy was afraid to go there and mother sent him to the charity school where there was no physical punishment. It is known that the school was led by Christian Fedder Carstens.
At the age of 14 Hans went to Copenhagen. His mother hoped that he would come home soon. When she asked the reason for leaving home he answered: “To become famous!”

Robert De Niro – great actor

Robert De Niro is an American actor, film director and producer. He is a winner of Golden Globe (1981, 2011) and Oscar (1975, he became the first actor in history to received it for the foreign language role in 1981). He is one of the greatest American actors of his generation.
Robert De Niro, Jr. was born on August 17, 1943 in New York. His father, Robert De Niro Sr., was a sculptor, painter and poet. His mother, Virginia Admiral, also sold paintings. His parents had a salon in Greenwich Village that attracted other artists and intellectuals. They divorced when their son was a young child.
At the age of 10 Robert played the role of the Cowardly Lion in a school play The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. At the age of 16, De Niro got his first paying role, in a production of Chekhov’s The Bear. De Niro attended the Stella Adler courses, as well as Lee Strasberg Actors Studio.
