Hedy Lamarr – actress and inventor

Hedy Lamarr was an Austrian and then American film actress popular in 1930-1940 and inventor. She was frequently called the most beautiful woman in motion pictures.
Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler was born on November 9, 1914 in Vienna. She was the only child into the family of Gertrude and Emil Kiesler. Her father was a director of the Bank of Vienna and her mother was a pianist. She grew up in luxury and received an excellent education. Since childhood, she studied music and ballet, was fond of theater and other arts.
At the age of 16 Hedwig left her house, entered drama school, and began to act in films. She made her debut in the German film The Girl in the night club (1930). In the late 1920s Max Reinhardt invited her to Berlin.
Ecstasy (1933), a Czech-Austrian film by Gustav Mahata, brought her world fame. Her nude bathing in a forest lake is innocently enough according the standards of the XXI century, but in 1933 it caused a storm of emotions. The film was banned in several countries and released in rent in a few years with the censor cuts. In the same year she married manufacturer of weapons, Austrian millionaire Fritz Mandl. He was so insanely jealous that he tried to buy up every copy of Ecstasy.

Dean Reed was an American singer, film actor, film director and public figure, who enjoyed great popularity in Latin America and Eastern countries Europe.
Dean Cyril Reed was born on September 22, 1938 in Denver, Colorado, USA. His father, Cyril Reed was a village teacher, and his mother, Ruth Anna was a housewife. Dean had two brothers – Vern and Dale. The boy started playing the guitar at the age of 12.
At the age of 18 he entered the University of Colorado to study meteorology. He wanted to become a weather reporter. During his studies, Reed performed in bars and clubs. However, two years later, he left the University and went to Hollywood.
In 1958, Dean Reed went hitchhiking in Los Angeles, California, and signed a contract with a minor musical studio Capitol Records. Studio recorded several records and he performed on national television.
In 1961, his disc with the title Our Summer Romance was a hit in Latin America. In South America his fame surpassed Elvis Presley himself.

In 2002 she made her debut in the series General Hospital and the next few years she worked as a model and actress, appearing mainly in episodes of such series as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, 90210: New Generation, Fringe and Castle. On the big screen she appeared in the films Remember Me and Horrible Bosses.
On September 10, 2011 Markle married to Trevor Engelson. They were together since 2004. The couple broke up in May 2013 and in August of that year, Trevor and Megan divorced.

Walt Disney was an American cartoonist, film director, actor, writer and producer, founder of Walt Disney Productions, which by now has turned into a multimedia empire The Walt Disney company. He is the creator of the first sound and musical cartoons in the history of cinema. He is best known for creating such characters as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. During his unusually tense life Disney made 111 films and was the producer of 576 movies. He received 26 Oscar awards (absolute record) and The Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award.
Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago. He was the fourth of five children. In 1906 the family moved to a farm in Missouri, and in 1910 to Kansas City. At the age of 14 Walt did a paper round.
During World War I he served as a Red Cross driver in France.
In 1920 Disney became an artist at the advertising studio, where he began to create his first advertising films.
Later Disney opened his first animation studio Laugh-O-Gram in Kansas City. Ub Iwerks, leading cartoonist, became his partner. However, the company soon went bankrupt.

Dame Judith Olivia ‘Judi’ Dench is a British film and stage actress, Cavalier of the Order of the Companions of Honour (2005), Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (1988). She was awarded Oscar in 1999, Golden Globe in 1998 and 2001. She is one of England’s most famous and admired actresses.
Judith Olivia was born on December 9, 1934 in the English city of York. Her father Reginald Arthur Dench was a doctor, who served as a staff physician of York Theatre Royal. Since childhood Judi was fond of drawing and dancing. Her elder brother, Jeffrey Dench, also became an actor.
In 1957 Dench debuted on the professional stage in the role of Ophelia (Hamlet) at Old Vic Theater. Her performance and delivery were delicate but intelligent, and the character came alive for audiences.
In 1960, at London’s Old Vic, Judi played Juliet in the play Romeo and Juliet directed by Franco Zeffirelli. In 1961, she joined the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Charles Schulz – famous cartoonist

Charles Schulz was an American cartoonist, author of Peanuts comic strip about a boy, Charlie Brown, and his dog Snoopy, on which he worked for fifty years. His nickname was Sparky. The series has received international recognition and is considered one of the most successful comic books of all time. Schultz was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal posthumously. Schulz was the winner of two Reuben awards from the National Cartoonists Society, two Peabody, and five Emmy awards and a member of the Cartoonist Hall of Fame.
Charles Monroe Schulz was born on November 26, 1922 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His uncle called him Sparky after the horse from Barney Google. As a child and teenager, Charles was very shy. He loved to draw as a child. His first published cartoon was a drawing of his small black-and-white dog, Spike. This drawing appeared in a newspaper in 1937.
After his mother’s death in 1943 he was enlisted in the US Army and went to Europe during World War II. After the war, Schultz returned to Minneapolis, where he began working as an art teacher.

Her godfather is Greek-American actor Telly Savalas, the best friend of her father. The girl was raised in a show business environment.
Her parents divorced when the girl was 9 years old. She stayed with her mother, but often visited her father in Los Angeles, where John Aniston played a major role in the TV series Days of Our Lives.
In high school, Aniston was a member of the drama club. Besides her acting talent, one of Aniston’s passions is painting, and one of her creations was even displayed in New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art when she was 11.
