Whoopi Goldberg is an American film and stage actress, producer, writer, TV presenter, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She is one of the few celebrities who were awarded four major US prestigious awards – Oscar, Grammy, Emmy and Tony. She also received two Golden Globe awards, BAFTA and a Star on the Walk of Fame. Whoopi is one of the brightest Hollywood stars of 1980-1990-ies.
Caryn Elaine Johnson (her real name) was born on November 13, 1955 in Manhattan, New York. Her mother worked as a nurse and teacher, and her father was a priest.
At the age of eight Caryn began performing in the Helen Rubenstein experimental children’s theater. The girl had to left school due to dyslexia.
In the late 1960s, Caryn joined the hippie movement. She left home to live in a commune where she addicted to marijuana, and later – to the heavier drugs. The girl didn’t work for a long time. She tried to get rid of the addiction but it was very difficult.

Then Rosamund entered Wadham College at Oxford University to study English literature. There she became friends with Chelsea Clinton.

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Baron Lloyd-Webber, is a British composer, the eldest son of organist William Lloyd Webber and brother of cellist Julian Lloyd Webber. Lloyd Webber started composing at the age of six, and his first work was published when he was nine years old.
Lloyd Webber has achieved great success in the field of musical theater. Some of his musicals are being played more than ten years in the West End and on Broadway. He created 13 musicals, two themes for films and a requiem. In 1992, the composer was given the title of knight and then a peerage. He is winner of many prestigious awards. Several of his songs, such as The Music of the Night from the musical Phantom of the Opera, I Do not Know How to Love Him from the rock opera Jesus Christ – Superstar, Do not Cry for Me, Argentina from Evita and Memory from Cats became hits.
Andrew Lloyd Webber was born on March 22, 1948 in Kensington, London, UK. His mother Jean Johnstone was a violinist and pianist and his father William Lloyd Webber was a composer. His younger brother, Julian Lloyd Webber is a famous cellist.

Robert Francis Vaughn was born in New York on November 22, 1932 into a family of theater actress Marcella Francis and broadcaster Gerald Walter Vaughn. His childhood Robert spent in Minneapolis with his grandparents who raised their grandson in the Irish Catholic tradition.
After graduating from high school Vaughn entered the University of Minnesota, Department of Journalism, but a year later he gave up studying and moved to Los Angeles with his mother.
There he continued his studies, but he studied Performing Arts and received a master’s degree in theater.
In 1970, after the start of his acting career, Robert earned his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Southern California.

Dame Judith Olivia ‘Judi’ Dench is a British film and stage actress, Cavalier of the Order of the Companions of Honour (2005), Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (1988). Judith Olivia was born on December 9, 1934 in the English city of York. Her father Reginald Arthur Dench was a doctor, who served as a staff physician of York Theatre Royal. Since childhood Judi was fond of drawing and dancing. Her elder brother, Jeffrey Dench, also became an actor.
In 1957 Dench debuted on the professional stage in the role of Ophelia (Hamlet) at Old Vic Theater. Her performance and delivery were delicate but intelligent, and the character came alive for audiences.
In 1960, at London’s Old Vic, Judi played Juliet in the play Romeo and Juliet directed by Franco Zeffirelli. In 1961, she joined the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Mary was born Gladys Louise Smith on April 8, 1893 in Toronto, Canada. Her father, John Charles Smith, was an alcoholic laborer who abandoned his family. He died of a cerebral hemorrhage in 1898 after an accident at work. Her mother, Charlotte, took in borders and sewing to support her family. Mary had younger brother Jack and younger sister Lottie.
Pickford began acting at the age of six to support her family. She worked primarily in stock company melodramas in Toronto and tours across Canada.
