Eve Myles – Welsh actress

Eve Myles is a Welsh actress best known for her leading roles in the television series Belonging and Torchwood.
The future actress was born on July 26, 1978, Eastradginlays, Powys, Wales. She received her primary education at the same school as her colleague Steve Meo – Ysgol Maes Y Dderwen. Pretty girl prepared to become an actress and continued her education at the Royal Wales College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. In 2000 Eve graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Then she left for London. Since then, the actress has combined a career in television and theater.
In 2001, Eve starred in the film Score and the mini-series Tales from Pleasure Beach. A year later she got the lead role of Carey in the BBC’s Welsh television drama Belonging. In the EastEnders spin-off Dot’s Story the actress played the role of young Gwen. Also in 2003, Eve played the role of Lavinia at the Royal Shakespeare Theater in the production of Titus Andronicus.

In 2005, she took part in a production of Henry IV, Part I and II with Michael Gambon, who played Falstaff, at the National Theater. Then Eve got a significant role as a determined girl in the BBC series The Instructor and also reappeared in the BBC short film Colditz in 2005. Thanks to the latter role the actress appeared in the TV series Doctor Who in the episode Restless Dead. There she was seen by Russell T Davis, who said she was one of the most intimate secrets that Wales kept. As a result, Davis wrote Gwen’s story in Torchwood specifically for Eve. This role brought her home to Wales. In 2008, Eve was involved in the television adaptation of Dickens’s Little Dorrit.
In 2002 and 2003, Eve was nominated for Best Actress by BAFTA Cymru for her role in the BBC drama Belonging.
You know, in 2007, she took part in the same nomination for her role as Gwen Cooper in the TV series Torchwood. But the actress won the award for this role only at the 2008 ceremony.
In 2005, The Western Mail ranked Eve seventh on their annual list of the 50 Sexiest Women in Wales.

Personal life
On May 18, 2013 Eve married actor Bradley Freegard, whom she dated for 14 years before their wedding. The spouses have two daughters – Matilda Miles-Freehard (born on November 10, 2009) and Sienna Miles-Freehard (born on February 12, 2014).
