Kim Kardashian is an American reality TV star, actress and fashion model. She is the participant of the seventh season of the reality show Dancing with the Stars and Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Kimberly Kardashian West was born on October 21, 1980 in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of a prominent lawyer Robert Kardashian and socialite Kris Jenner, née Houghton. Kim’s mother filed for divorce in 1989 and in 1991 married former famous athlete Bruce Jenner, who later became Caitlyn Jenner.
Kim grew up in Beverly Hills. She attended Marymount High School. As a school girl she worked for Movie Tunes, her father’s music promotional company.

Kim has two sisters – Courtney and Chloe and brother Rob. She also has stepbrothers Burton Jenner, Brandon Jenner, and reality TV star Brody Jenner; stepsister Casey Jenner, and sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner (born in 1995 and 1997).
In October 2007 the whole family began starring in a reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In 2010, Kim earned six million dollars, becoming the highest paid reality TV star. On January 23, 2011 a new reality show with Kim was launched – Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

Her first significant role was played in the series Beyond the Break. She appeared in the TV series How I Met Your Mother in the episode Benefits.
The actress posed nude for the December issue of Playboy in 2007. She is also a model for the famous clothing lines and starred in the advertising companies such as Sketchers, Kotex and Quick Trim.
On May 2, 2008 Kim presented a DVD – Workout with Kim Kardashian.
Together with her sisters Kourtney and Chloe she is the owner of the boutiques D-A-S-H. The first store was opened in 2006 in Calabasas, California, and the second – in Miami on May 20, 2009. The third boutique was opened in Soho in New York on November 3, 2010.
In July 2010 a wax figure of Kim Kardashian appeared at Madame Tussauds in New York City.
In August 2010, Kim became the producer of the reality show The Spin Crowd about the lives of two PR-agents Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck.
In early March 2011 Kardashian released her single Jam (Turn It Up).
On November 23, 2010 the autobiography of Kardashian sisters was published. Kardashian Konfidential tells about fun facts of their childhood, secrets of their beauty and style, the wisdom they have learned from their father.

Personal life
In 2000-2004, Kim was married to music producer Damon Thomas.

In 2011-2013, she was married to basketball player Kris Humphries.

On May 24, 2014, Kim married rapper Kanye West. They have two children. Their daughter was born on June 15, 2013 and their son was born on December 5, 2015.
