Ryan Reynolds – successful actor
Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian actor and film producer. He is known for his roles in the sitcom Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place and in the films Van Wilder, Just Friends, Definitely, Maybe, The Proposal, The Amityville Horror, X-Men: Origins. Wolverine, Buried, Blade: Trinity, Green Lantern and Deadpool. In 2003 he was a winner of the Young Hollywood Award.
Ryan Rodney Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, Canada. His father James Chester was a food wholesaler and his mother Tammy Reynolds was a retailer. Reynolds has Irish roots and was brought up as a Catholic, he was the youngest of four brothers.
In 1994, Reynolds graduated from secondary school in Vancouver and studied at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University but quit it. His two older brothers are police officers; one of them is a member of the Canadian Mounted Police.
Reynolds career began when he was still a boy and played the role of Billy in the Canadian youth soap opera Hillside (Fifteen). He received an award Best Young Actor at the cable TV.
In 1993, Reynolds received a role in an episode of The X-Files with David Duchovny and Julian Anderson.
In 2002, Reynolds starred in two popular comedies Van Wilder and The Cat in the bag, as well as in the American television series Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place as a student Michael Bergen. Two years later, he played the role of a male nurse, a cameo in the movie Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle.
Ryan got the main role in the film Definitely, Maybe. In this film he plays a positive hero, however, his cast range includes the negative or just distinguishing characters. For example Reynolds played the role of George Lutz in The Amityville Horror, Hannibal King in Blade: Trinity and an FBI agent in Smokin Aces.
In 2009 he starred in the romantic comedy The Proposal with Sandra Bullock.
In 2010 the actor was named the sexiest man of the planet in 2010 by People magazine.
In 2011, Ryan starred in the film adaptation of the comic book Green Lantern, acting in tandem with a charming Blake Lively.
In 2016 Deadpool was released.
Personal life
From 2002 to 2007 he was in a relationship with Alanis Morissette. They announced their engagement in 2004, but broke up three years later.
On May 5, 2008 he announced the engagement to actress Scarlett Johansson. They married on September 28 at a mountain resort near Tofino Vancouver (Canada). On December 14, 2010 their divorce was announced.
On September 9, 2012 Ryan married Blake Lively. On December 16, 2014 Blake gave birth to their daughter and on September 30, 2016 their second daughter was born.
