Cameron Diaz – American actress and model

Cameron Diaz is an American actress and former fashion model. She became known in the 1990s for her role in the film The Mask. The actress was nominated for Golden Globe for her roles in the films There’s Something About Mary, Vanilla Sky, Gangs of New York and Being John Malkovich.
Cameron Michelle Diaz was born on August 30, 1972 in San Diego, California. Her mother, Billy Diaz, worked as an agent of import and export and her father, Emilio Diaz (1949-2008), worked at Union Oil Company of California for more than 20 years. Cameron and her elder sister were fond of Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica and Van Halen.
Cameron spent her childhood in Long Beach and studied at Long Beach Polytechnic High School.
As a child, Cameron had a lot of pets (cats, mice, birds, snakes, and so on) and dreamed of becoming a zoologist.

The girl received an invitation to work in a modeling agency Elite. Without thinking twice 16-year-old girl signed a contract with the agency and earned about two thousand dollars a day. She posed for Mademoiselle and Seventeen magazines and took part in advertisements for the fashion house Calvin Klein, Levi’s and Coca-Cola.
Diaz traveled around the world, visited Japan, Australia, Algeria, France, Mexico and in 1990 settled in Hollywood with video producer Carlos De La Torre. Their love affair lasted until 1995.
In Hollywood, Cameron Diaz became known after her successful debut in the sensational movie The Mask (1994) with Jim Carrey. Now successfully retrained model is a very popular actress, who starred in many films and continues to act, as well as to voice roles in animated films.
In 1996, Diaz played in the movie My Best Friend’s Wedding in which her partner was Julia Roberts.
The film Charlie’s Angels where she starred together with Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu brought her popularity.
On June 23, 2009 Cameron got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Personal life
From 1995 to 1998, Cameron was in a relationship with actor Matt Dillon.

Since 1999 she had a relationship with Jared Leto. In 2000, they got engaged, but broke up in 2003.

From 2003 to 2006, Cameron dated Justin Timberlake. A year later, Cameron started dating model Paul Sculfor, who broke up with Jennifer Aniston.

From July 2010 to September 2011, she had a relationship with baseball player Alex Rodriguez.
In May 2014 it was reported that Cameron dated Benji Madden, guitarist and backing vocalist of the band Good Charlotte. On January 5, 2015 Diaz married Madden.
